In perusing Amazon recently, I came across a third-party seller offering a product I was interested in for $0.01 with free shipping. Not one to pass up a deal, I ordered the product. Later, I thought to check if this seller wanted to give me any other stuff at a ridiculous price.
I bought the following 12 items for $0.12. Now, I didn’t really want all of these things, but for 1 cent each? The price in parentheses is the current price of the item on Amazon. Unfortunately, the seller is no longer offering items for 1 cent.
Champion Barbell E-Z Curl Bar, Chrome (47 x 1-inch) ($26.15)
Weider Power Tower ($134)
Stamina 15-0125 InStride Folding Cycle ($30.76)
Bowflex PR1000 Home Gym ($379.52)
Perfect Fitness Ab Carver Pro ($34.40)
Fit Simplify Resistance Loop Exercise 5 Bands ($10.95)
Balance High Accuracy Bathroom Scale ($26.95)
Bowflex SelectTech 552 Adjustable Dumbbells (Pair) ($239.99)
Weight Lifting Gloves with Premium Leather Palm and Adjustable Wrist Support ($17.99)
Home-it 10 x 6 x 7.7– Inches Clear Acrylic 3 Drawer Jewerly Chest ($17.87)
2 CAP Barbell Vinyl Coated Cement Kettlebells (10 pound) ($19.99 each)
What are the chances that they’re really going to ship me $948.56 of stuff for 12 cents? We’ll see. Amazon says the order has shipped but that the seller did not provide tracking information…
